A Better Future is Possible
I’m Dr. Juan M. Benitez, the current School Board President for Long Beach Unified School District (LBUSD) Board of Education, and I’m running for reelection to LBUSD’s School Board in District 3 so I can continue to stand up for ALL our students and support all our schools. I will continue advocating for all students, particularly our most vulnerable, so that every single one of them can reach their full potential and achieve their dreams.
I’m proud of the work we’ve accomplished these past 3+ years; particularly during these very challenging times. I’m also very proud to be endorsed by the Teachers Association of Long Beach (TALB), and I look forward to continue working with them to ensure that ALL students have equitable opportunities to succeed and achieve their dreams.
LBUSD continues to be a strong district but we still have a lot of work to do to make it better… and I need your support. We could not have done many of the things we’ve accomplished these past 3 years without all the support that we’ve received from so many of you and I am truly honored and grateful for the opportunity to continue serving our students and communities. Since I began my work on the LBUSD Board of Education when I first got elected in 2018, I have been dedicated to working as hard as I can to serve as a champion for better public education. I continue to be driven by the goal that EVERY student in our schools deserves that highest quality education.
With your support, guidance, and collaboration, I would be honored to serve our students, parents, guardians, families and community members for another 4 years. Our June 7, 2022 election is approaching quickly and I’m asking for your help to reach our goal. Here’s how you can get involved so that, together, we can build a stronger district for ALL students.
